Heb jij een nieuwsbrief?

Noem je nieuwsbrief geen nieuwsbrief schreef Aartjan van Erkel ( bekend van o.a. het boek Verleiden op Internet) onlangs in zijn gratis tips voor je website.

Ik weet niet of ik het helemaal met hem eens ben. Dus ben ik gaan kijken naar de mogelijkheden hoe je jouw nieuwsbrief zou kunnen noemen. En welke benaming gebruiken internet marketing bedrijven.

Ik ben eerst de websites die over internet marketing gaan op zoeken. Frankwatching.com, dutchcowboys.nl, en karelgeenen.nl en allemaal!!! Ja, allemaal gebruiken ze het woord nieuwsbrief. Het woord nieuwsbrief is natuurlijk bij iedereen bekend. Men weet wat het betekent, wat men kan verwachten en dat men zich ook weer kan afmelden of uitschrijven voor een nieuwsbrief.

Welk alternatief woord is er voor Nieuwsbrief ?

Veel voorkomende gebruikte namen zijn: E-zine of E-magazine. Of je wordt Member bij een bedrijf. Vaak levert dat dan nog meer 'voordelen' op, dan alleen het ontvangen van een nieuwsbrief. Dit zijn, in mijn optiek, wat saaie benamingen.

Ik heb mijn creatieve brein gewoon eens losgelaten en gewoon wat ideetjes op papier gezet.

De Efteling = ‘Sprookjes update’ in plaats van Efteling-nieuws
Dierenpark Amersfoort = ‘Dierengebrul’ in plaats van Nieuwsbrief
Dolfinarium Harderwijk = Bent u bekent met ‘Vissentaal?’ in plaats van Nieuwsbrief -> blijf op de hoogte!

Eigenlijk kan je 2 kanten op. Gewoon Nieuwsbrief gebruiken omdat website bezoekers begrijpen wat een nieuwsbrief is of je bezoekers nieuwsgierig maken met een afwijkende naam voor een nieuwsbrief.
